Tony Khan Has Had Conversations To Host AEW Show In Interesting Venue

Tony Khan has confirmed there have been talks to potentially host a future AEW show in a unique venue.

Opening back in September 2023, The Sphere in Las Vegas contains 580,000 square feet of LEDs to give those hosting an event the opportunity to create a truly unique show and fully immersive experience for the fans. While multiple artists have played shows inside The Sphere and UFC is set to take over the venue in September, professional wrestling has yet to make an appearance.

With All Elite Wrestling having a strong connection to Las Vegas given their debut pay-per-view was held in the city along with every Double or Nothing not affected by pandemic restrictions, has Tony Khan considered the possibility of hosting what could be a truly unique pro wrestling event?

Appearing on The Dan LeBatard Show, Khan stated that while he has had those conversations, there is a considerable waiting list:

“Through my management company, Activist Artists Management, we represent the Grateful Dead, the Dead & Company, great artists. Have had some conversations about that, but I think it’s a long long way away. There is a long line to get into The Sphere.”
