Tony Khan Finally Breaks Silence On Jay White’s Injury And Absence

Tony Khan Jay White AEW

When will Jay White make his long-awaited return? Tony Khan has the answer.

Last year, on the October 2 episode of Dynamite, Jay White made a comeback following his recovery after a serious injury. However, a few months later, he was sidelined again with another injury.

White was involved in the World Title scene earlier this year and was also scheduled to compete for the Men’s Owen Hart Cup; however, the injury completely ruled him out of the picture.

In April of this year, the 32-year-old appeared in a backstage interview and confirmed his injury. Now, nearly four months later, the Jacksonville-based wrestling promotion’s President Khan has publicly addressed White’s injury and his return timeline.

Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, Khan said:

Jay White is one of the best wrestlers in the world and got injured along the way. He is out, and unfortunately, is going to be out for a long time.”

Reportedly suffering from a shoulder injury, White is also expected to be out of the promotion for the rest of the year.

We at ITR Wrestling wish Jay White a speedy and steady recovery.

Tony Khan Wants This AEW Original To Be Present At The Forbidden Door PPV

Yesterday, while speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, All Elite Wrestling commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross revealed how Khan had requested him to be present for commentating duties at the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV.

Found out this week that, via my communication with Tony Khan, that he wants me to be in London at the O2 to call a couple matches. I’m going to London and that’s a hell of a building.”
