Tony Khan Announces New Star Will Make AEW Debut On Dynamite

AEW President Tony Khan

Tony Khan has revealed that a 24-year-old high-flying star will make their AEW debut on the March 1st episode of AEW Dynamite.

The announcement came as it was confirmed that there are changes coming to the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. The multi-man match has become a staple of the Revolution pay-per-view, but in 2023 it will be taking place on the go-home edition of Dynamite.

In 2022 the match was won by Wardlow who went on to challenge for the TNT Championship although his title opportunity ended in defeat via interference from MJF.

It has now been confirmed that the match will feature Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, Powerhouse Hobbs, Action Andretti, Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, AR Fox, and the debuting Komander.

The Mexcian star made his in-ring debut while he was just a teenager, before landing in AAA in 2019. Komander made his United States debut with GCW in June 2022, with his most recent match with the promotion coming against Lio Rush on February 18th.

It Has Been A Week Of Announcements From Tony Khan

Tony Khan’s latest announcement came after he dropped two pieces of news on the February 22nd episode of Dynamite via Adam Cole. After much hype and expectation, Khan handed over speaking duties to Cole who confirmed that he’ll be back in the ring in March, and a new reality series titled AEW All Access is coming soon.
