Tony Khan Announces Long Runtime For AEW Dynamite Anniversary Special

Next week, AEW will be celebrating the three-year anniversary of their AEW Dynamite show, and will be holding an anniversary week to commemorate the program that will also feature special editions of Rampage and Battle of the Belts.

On the air for three years now, AEW will celebrate the anniversary for AEW Dynamite with an entire week full of festivities that will include three live television broadcasts – Dynamite, Rampage and Battle of the Belts IV. Dynamite, itself, will also be extended by 15 minutes.

Making the announcement on Twitter, AEW owner Tony Khan said that Warner Bros. Discovery gave the October 5 Dynamite time slot an additional 15 minutes allowing the promotion to extend Wednesday night’s celebration to 135 minutes, rather than the normally scheduled 120.

Also, Khan tweeted that both Rampage and Battle of the Belts IV will be broadcasted live on October 7. Friday night’s AEW programming will be two hours total, with Battle of the Belts airing right after Rampage. Both shows will be broadcasted live and aired on TNT. Normally, Rampage and Battle of the Belts are pre-recorded, however, AEW is having live shows for Dynamite anniversary week.
