Tony Khan has made a major announcement about Bryan Danielson’s future in AEW.
Bryan Danielson is undoubtedly one of the biggest legends in AEW’s short history. The former world champion has set the stage as one of the locker room role models to follow since making the shift from WWE to AEW. The former Daniel Bryan was one of the best wrestlers in the world until his untimely retirement. The star then served as a WWE General Manager before returning to wrestling. The star then made the shift to Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling to have an illustrious career before losing his world title to Jon Moxley and being kicked out of the Blackpool Combat Club.
The star has since retired from wrestling and has only made sporadic appearances either in off-air segments or as a commentator.
With no on-screen role set for Bryan Danielson, his future in the company looked very bleak, with many speculating he could be heading out soon. But that is not the case.
Bryan Danielson Is Our NEW AEW Dynamite Commentator
Tony Khan, the President and CEO of All Elite Wrestling, took to X/Twitter to state that Bryan Danielson was going to be the newest addition to the AEW commentary desk.

It remains to be seen whether this will eventually lead to Danielson making a return to the ring. While the star has stated that his injuries have prevented him from wrestling, fans would hope that is not the case. Danielson was recently in commentary for All In and Forbidden Door, and fans were enthralled as to how much of a natural he seemed on the mic.
