AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed the signing of the star once dubbed the “next Brock Lesnar” ahead of their appearance in the Trios Championship tournament.
In February 2021, Parker Boudreaux was signed by WWE to much excitement online with his look and demeanour leading many to dub him the “next Brock Lesnar.” These weighty expectations were compounded when Paul Heyman even took to social media to praise the star as he saw big things in his future.
As the black and gold era of NXT gave way to NXT 2.0, opportunities for Boudreaux to appear on television followed. With a shaved head, the Florida native was renamed Harland, the imposing henchman of the demented Joe Gacy.
He wrestled his final match before his WWE release on the 1st of March edition of NXT where he defeated Draco Anthony.
Since being released Boudreaux competed in MLW’s Battle Riot before making his AEW debut on the edition of Dark which aired on the 2nd of August, where he defeated Serpentico.
Since then Parker Boudreaux has joined Ari Daivari’s Trustbusters group alongside Slim J. Those three men will enter the AEW Trios Title tournament where they will face Best Friends and Orange Cassidy.
Win or lose, however, Parker Boudreaux has reason to celebrate after Tony Khan took to social media to announce that the 24-year-old is now an official part of All Elite Wrestling.
After a win in his @AEWonTV debut + an eventful night for The Trustbusters, it’s official: @TheParkerB_ is #AllElite!#AEWRampagepic.twitter.com/IhwhTPfwiH
