AEW President Tony Khan has broken his silence on the backstage issues plaguing the company and says he will address the state of two championships on Dynamite.
Tony Khan had a ringside seat as an impassioned CM Punk got a few things off his chest at the post-All Out media scrum. The AEW World Champion took aim at The Young Bucks, Hangman Adam Page, and Colt Cabana in a tirade that led to an even worse situation.
The Young Bucks confronted CM Punk in his locker room and reports suggest Punk punched Matt Jackson while Nick Jackson was said to be hit with a chair thrown by Punk’s friend and AEW producer, Ace Steel. Steel is also alleged to have bitten Kenny Omega in the fracas.
As a result, CM Punk, Ace Steel, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler as well as producer Pat Buck and Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels have been suspended by the company.
This means both the AEW World Champion and AEW Trios Champions are both out of action and now Tony Khan has taken to social media to confirm that he will address the status of both titles on Dynamite in Buffalo:
“Thank you everyone who watches @AEWonTV! Tonight LIVE on @TBSNetwork on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite I’ll address the @AEW World Championship + @AEW World Trios Championship! Please join us on TBS tonight on #AEW Dynamite for a great wrestling show live @ 8pm ET/7pm CT TONIGHT!”

Reports have suggested that no matter the disciplinary issues regarding CM Punk, the AEW World Title situation will need to be changed due to an injury sustained by the champion in the main event of All Out.
