WWE has officially announced that Toni Storm will battle the energetic Shotzi Blackheart on Wednesday’s edition of NXT.
The match came about after Shotzi was granted the right to choose her next opponent by NXT General Manager, William Regal, following her stellar display as host of NXT Halloween Havoc last week.
In a Twitter post, Blackheart chose the Australian marvel and followed up her decision with:
“Its time for some fresh meat! @wwenxt TOMORROW NIGHT I welcome one of my idols into the ballpit! #wwenxt @usa_network.”

On last week’s NXT Halloween Havoc Supershow, Blackheart halted the machinations of the mysterious Ghostface in guiding LeRae to the NXT Women’s Championship with an electric chair.
While her enmity with ‘The Poison Pixie’ is sure to continue down the line, it’s refreshing to see Blackheart move onwards and upwards to bigger names and greater challenges.
As for Toni Storm, the former NXT UK Women’s Champion has been successful since venturing onto the black and gold brand at NXT TakeOver 31.
Since making the announcement that she was here to stay, Storm has only competed on NXT television once and that was in a victory over Aliyah on October 14.
Inside the Ropes will have all the live coverage from NXT.
