Toni Storm Teases Leaving AEW For Unlikely New Venture

Could Toni Storm be on the way out of AEW to start a new business?

The second half of 2024 has not gone the way that the Timeless one would have envisioned thus far. While the former Women’s Champion still had the gold leading up to All In, she was brutally bloodied and betrayed by former protege Mariah May in the lead-up to the Wembley Stadium show. Despite a valiant effort, May emerged the victor in her home country and Storm has not been seen in All Elite Wrestling since.

Sadly, Toni Storm would not have much luck in CMLL either as the former Women’s Champion lost her debut match in the promotion to La Catalina. Additionally, Storm failed to defeat Mayu Iwatani in Japan to win the IWGP Women’s Title.

Unsure if she is still cut out to be a wrestler, Storm may have a backup plan in the works. Appearing on FOX Sports’s new All Elite show, Storm stated that she is thinking of starting up her own taco stand:

“There is no situation. Life just is what it is right now. I’m thinking of moving here permanently. I’m thinking of setting up my own taco stand and living a happy, peaceful life here in Mexico. I think it will be best.”

Continuing, Storm added that she may never come back to AEW and would instead focus on Toni’s Tacos:

“Everybody will come to Toni’s Tacos! That’s my business, that’s my next venture. Maybe I’ll never go back to AEW. I think Toni’s Tacos is it!”

Closing out the clip, Storm unveiled her slogan for the potential new venture:

“Toni’s Tacos: Chin up, tits out and watch for the taco!”

Toni Storm Wins Prestigious Accolade

Although Storm remains unsure about what her future holds, Pro Wrestling Illustrated has seen things differently as the annual PWI 250 was recently released with Toni Storm taking the top spot.

In other AEW news, one star could be making their return soon.
