On Wednesday’s edition of NXT, Toni Storm will battle Candice LeRae in a grudge match, taking up the mantle for Shotzi Blackheart who she defeated last week.
Seven days ago, the Australian sensation fought NXT’s resident green-haired heroine in a bout which put the NXT women’s division on notice. However, it was the conclusion of the affray which got people talking when Mrs Gargano appeared on the big screen.
Distracting Blackheart long enough for Storm to snag a victory with a roll-up, LeRae then drove a car over Shotzi’s tank in revenge for costing her the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc.
Toni Storm, who watched the distraught talent breakdown in tears following the heinous act, has decided to take her friend’s side in the enmity and wage war against ‘The Poison Pixie’ to reclaim a measure of retribution.
However, Blackheart won’t be too far behind the former NXT Women’s Champion as she looks for her own measure of reprisal in her ongoing tale with Johnny and Candice.
Toni Storm hasn’t been that prevalent on NXT since announcing her arrival at TakeOver 31. With only two matches under her belt, it’s time she took centre stage in a feud that can exhibit her skills to the maximum.
