Toni Storm aims to use her Forbidden Door match against Mina Shirakawa to send a message to STARDOM.
Ahead of defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against STARDOM’s Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door, Storm will team up with her opponent on the June 26th edition of Dynamite. Alongside Mariah May, the pair will take on Harley Cameron, Saraya, and Anna Jay.
In a digital exclusive following the latest episode of Collision, told May they would get through the next week’s “strange and wonderful journey” before addressing Shirakawa.
Referring to her past as a member of the STARDOM roster, Storm said she wants to send Shirakawa back to spread the word of her transformation from someone who used to “sweep our floors” into the goddess she is today.
“Mina Shirakawa, you keep shaking your forbidden door knockers but Wednesday, we have a common enemy, so we must all be on the same page.
“Then, Sunday, I will rip out that page and I’ll burn the whole bloody book… You can go back to STARDOM and say, ‘Remember that 20-year-old blonde girl that used to sweep our floors? Well, she’s now a goddess and she ended my life!”

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Could See Major Title Change
With multiple titles on the line, it looks like AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door could see a World Championship changing hands. Jon Moxley is set to defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Title against the man he won it from, Tetsuya Naito, at the event, and there has been a major hint that could be about to lose the gold.
The promotion’s champion is normally part of NJPW’s gruelling G1 Climax tournament, but with the brackets announced, Moxley is nowhere to be seen. If he does retain against Naito, it would be the first time since 2008 that the champion would not be involved in the G1.
