An AEW announcer has named Toni Storm as the promotion’s ‘MVP’.
With over three decades in the wrestling business, AEW announcer Jim Ross has worked under multiple promotions and witnessed the rise of several popular stars, including Ric Flair, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and many more. Quite knowledgeable about what it means to be the ‘MVP’, Ross recently called out Storm as one.
Currently employed with Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling, he has named Storm as the Jacksonville-based promotion’s ‘MVP’. On the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross specifically pointed out Storm and Mariah May, while discussing the upcoming Revolution 2025 match card.
“I think that if you had an MVP award to give to somebody in AEW right now for performances in recent weeks, it would overwhelmingly be given to Toni Storm. She’s been the best performer, I think, in the company, and the young lady that she’s working with is right there with her, Mariah May,” he said. “Golly, Conrad, Mariah May has come out of nowhere, and she’s just here, and all of a sudden, she’s a star. That’s hard to do. So, anyhow, I’m high on Mariah May and Toni Storm’s story. Boy, they’ve got a good one going, and they work well together. They hold nothing back.”

WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash Is All Praises For Toni Storm
A few weeks ago on his Kliq This podcast, Hall of Famer Kevin Nash opened up Storm’s work at All Elite Wrestling. Heaping praises on the current champion, Nash said:
“Toni Storm, I saw a clip…she had a segment, and I saw a couple clips of it on Instagram. I said, ‘Let me go ahead and watch this,’ and she kind of did a rendition of Demi Moore’s performance in her newest film that’s Oscar-worthy, with the smearing of the makeup. I loved her stuff with RJ [City], all her black-and-white shit. I know who she is and I know her work because she’s always been different. She’s so fucking different than everybody else. To me, she’s an entertainer that happens to be in professional wrestling. She’s an entertaining human being, and kudos to her.”
