Toni Storm made a surprise STARDOM appearance to open up her Forbidden Door.
On the June 1st edition of Collision, Toni Storm announced that her Forbidden Door was “wide open” and told the wrestling world to keep their eyes peeled for her next move.
As it turned out, there wasn’t a long wait to find out Storm’s intentions, as the AEW Women’s World Champion made a shock appearance via video hours later at STARDOM’s Korakuen Hall show. The star laid down a challenge for Mina Shirakawa, saying she had seen the star helping her protege Mariah May on AEW TV when she wasn’t around.
“Mina-san, I see you’ve been in AEW when I’ve not been around, but I’ve been watching you, oh, I’ve been watching you. You do not need to knock, you do not need to ring the doorbell because I have opened the Forbidden Door and I want you!
“But don’t worry, any friend of Mariah’s is a friend of mine, I just want to see what kind of woman you really are.”
After watching the video, Shirakawa accepted the challenge, warning Storm to “watch out.”

Mariah May has a history with Mina Shirakawa as the pair were part of Club Venus in STARDOM and reigned as the Goddesses of STARDOM Champions in 2023. Storm is well known in the Japanese promotion, having been part of the roster before joining WWE and having a lengthy reign with the World of STARDOM Title.
Mercedes Mone Looking For Opponent For AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
While Toni Storm has her opponent for the event locked down, Mercedes Mone is still looking for a challenger at Forbidden Door. After winning the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing, Mone tasked Tony Khan and NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi with finding her a “good opponent” for the crossover show. The opponent could well be CMLL’s Stephanie Vaquer after the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion had a staredown with Mone on Dynamite.
