Toni Storm won’t be putting together a list of dream opponents anytime soon.
Since her arrival in AEW, Storm has wrestled and defeated the very best the promotion has to offer. However, at the time of writing, she is yet to face the current TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone, in what some fans are calling a dream match. But if the two were to meet the Timeless one will certainly not be putting it in that category.
During an appearance on MuscleManMalcolm at WrestleCon, the four time AEW Women’s World Champion, who her dream opponent is. However, Storm was quick to fire back that she doesn’t believe in the concept and even went as far as to call it “baloney”
“I don’t have one. I don’t have a dream opponent. I don’t dream about this anymore. None of this is a dream. This is a f*cking nightmare. Why do people dream about fighting people? So that I can get in the ring with one of the women and have them kick me in the head. What is so dreamy about this? Dream match baloney.”

The movie, about wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke, features Storm as Clara Mortenson, a major wrestling star from the 1930s and ’40s. Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Khan explained he had early talks with the film’s director, Ash, to support Storm’s casting and worked around her schedule for filming. He also confirmed that several AEW talents were involved in the project, but emphasised that Storm was the perfect fit.
