Toni Storm has taken to the official WWE NXT Instagram to come out as bisexual.
The former NXT UK Women’s Champion made the powerful statement during a takeover of the black and gold brand’s social media account to celebrate Pride month.
Speaking via IG stories, Storm donned a hat lavished with rainbow coloured pom-poms as the Australian confirmed that she isn’t just an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, but is actually a part of it herself – confirming her bisexuality.
“I’m an ally and I can’t exactly say that I’m straight. I’m bi and it feels good to say, and it’s something I’ve been really comfortable with for a long time, I’ve just never really expressed it.”

Storm has been making waves on NXT, re-establishing herself as one of the brand’s top stars after moving from NXT UK – in a move which she told Inside The Ropes recently had many obstacles.
“Yeah, I think I was meant to be there quite a few months sooner, but obviously I got stuck and obviously the UK… It’s still in a terrible state now, pandemic wise, but it was terrible back then so we didn’t know what was happening with NXT UK either. I was just kind of in between, like, ‘ I don’t know.’ I was living each day not knowing what was going to happen, when I was going to leave, so it was crazy time. But yeah, it took me until October.”
Everyone at Inside The Ropes congratulates Toni Storm for having the courage to make her announcement publicly.
