The tension between Toni Storm and Mariah May has exploded once again.
After more than eight months of being the perfect co-star as Toni Storm lives out her Hollywood starlet dreams, on July 10th, Mariah May snapped. Just moments after winning the Owen Hart Cup the British star destroyed Storm in a vicious assault, leaving her former friend a bloody mess.
Crucially, May had just earned a shot at Storm and the Women’s Title at All In.
Since then, the pair have repeatedly come to blows on AEW television whenever they get within 10 feet of each other. Seeing as this has become something of a tradition, Storm and May again got into a wild brawl during a fan event ahead of the big night at Wembley.
With May addressing her adoring public at a fan event, Storm jumped her rival from behind before they were pulled apart by security.
Mariah May Planning Eyebrow Celebration
During a recent interview before her match with Storm, Mariah May promised to celebrate in her pool with no bikini if she beats her rival in London. After reflecting on her return to the UK for Dynamite and All In, May set pulses racing.
“I love living in America; I got a real nice little house in Florida with a pool, as I should. I’m gonna be out there with both belts, maybe no bikini.”
Toni Storm has held the AEW Women’s Title since defeating Hikaru Shida at Full Gear in November 2023.
