AEW has announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Tomohiro Ishii will make his debut for the promotion on this week’s Dynamite.
Prior to the latest episode of Dynamite, Rocky Romero extended the entire Best Friends group an offer to join CHAOS on behalf of Kazuchika Okada, the leader of the NJPW faction.
Orange Cassidy wasn’t sure what Rocky Romero was talking about but an excited Chuck Taylor, who was previously a member of the group alongside Trent when the pair were signed with NJPW, gleefully accepted. This means that Taylor, Trent, Orange Cassidy, Wheeler Yuta, and Kris Statlander are all now a part of CHAOS.
On the November 12th edition of Rampage, Orange Cassidy take on Matt Hardy in a Lumberjack match. The Blade got involved late on to lay out Cassidy with brass knuckles, allowing Hardy to get the win.
Following these events, Tony Khan announced on the Full Gear Buy In show that Cassidy and a partner of his choosing would face The Butcher and The Blade on the November 17th episode of Dynamite.
In choosing his partner, Cassidy is already taking advantage of the newfound alliance with CHAOS as it has been announced he will team with one of their top dogs, Tomohiro Ishii.

Known as the ‘Stone Pitbull’, Ishii has been with CHAOS since its formation under Shinsuke Nakamura in 2009. He is currently the NEVER Openweight Champion, having defeated ‘Switchblade’ Jay White for the title at NJPW Battle in the Valley on the same night Full Gear took place, November 13th.
