Tommaso Ciampa Addresses New Theme On Raw

Tommaso Ciampa took to social media to address the reason behind his new theme music that first aired on Raw.

Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has been making regular appearances on Monday Night Raw as of late as he’s embroiled in a feud with former World Champion Dolph Ziggler.

On the February 22nd episode of Raw, many fans were dismayed to learn that Tommaso Ciampa’s signature theme music “No One Will Survive” had been replaced by a new theme when he made his entrance to face Ziggler’s partner Robert Roode in singles action. Ciampa was successful in the bout, and also succeeded at pinning Dolph Ziggler the next night on NXT 2.0 when he teamed with Bron Breakker to face the Dirty Dawgs.

Tommaso Ciampa must have heard rumblings that fans weren’t happy with the music change, and he took to social media to explain why the switch is actually a positive one in light of world events.

Let’s address the elephant in the room. Personally, I like the new music. More importantly, I love the message: “fight to survive”. It resonates with me on a deeper level. We all face our own struggles in life, obstacles we must overcome, we all have our own “fight” …whether that’s a battle with mental health, cancer, a physical disability, self doubt, or anything else… we must always choose to “fight to survive”.

Over the past few years, I’ve become far more active with charities and non profits like Give Kids the World Village. The pandemic has swept the nation. And to be quite honest, with the current state of things, I’d much rather spread a message like “fight to survive” than “no one will survive”. I sure as heck would rather teach my daughter that lesson.

I’ve been in this business for 17 years now. My platform has never been bigger than it is right now. My moment is now, literally and metaphorically. And everyday, I choose to “fight to survive”.

After his successful pinfall victory over Dolph Ziggler, Tommaso Ciampa is set to be part of a triple threat match for the NXT Championship next week.
