TNA World Champion Joe Hendry Threatens Legal Action Over Counterfeit Merchandise

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has threatened an online store with legal action as counterfeit merchandise is being sold on the website.

In 2024, Hendry’s popularity grew exponentially as a result of his viral entrance song and appearances on NXT. Continuing the momentum into 2025, the Scottish star won the World Championship at the Genesis Premium Live Event and made a surprise appearance in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

While many fans are happy to see Hendry succeed in the wrestling world, others have taken advantage of his popularity as multiple sites are selling fake merchandise containing his likeness and catchphrases.

Taking to social media to call out the counterfeit sellers, the World Champion warned website TeePublic that they had 24 hours to remove the bootleg merchandise or they would face legal action. When one fan noted that the site contained products sold by individual people as opposed to the store, Hendry responded “These sites know exactly what they’re doing.”

In a follow-up post, Hendry also pointed out that numerous sites are also guilty of selling counterfeit items and called for the stores to remove the fake goods:

Counterfeit merch has become a serious issue. Unless you get it from me, TNA, Pro Wrestling Tees, Hot Topic or Major Bendies, it is FAKE Joe Hendry merch is a fake site. The attached images are examples of counterfeit items It’s time to stamp this out.
