A TNA is set to create history at the NXT No Mercy event.

Fans have recently witnessed the collaboration between TNA and WWE, with several stars jumping brands and presenting the best possible shows. The NXT No Mercy card is heavily stacked with two prominent TNA stars featuring on it.

TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz is set to battle it out against his former friend Wes Lee, while Joe Hendry is scheduled to take on Ethan Page for the NXT Championship. Just hours before the event, on a social media post, Zachary Wentz previewed his match against Lee.

Wentz claimed the match would forget their nine-year-old friendship and history. However, he is also specifically mentioned as creating history as the first TNA X-Division Champion to feature on WWE programming.

TONIGHT! Nine years of brotherhood comes to a halt. Time to show Wes that he is not on my level. And I make history as the first Current TNA X-Division Champion to be featured on WWE programming.”

At the Great American Bash, after MSK fell short in an NXT Tag Title match, fans saw Wes Lee turn on his teammates. The two former friends are now engaged in a heated rivalry that is set to reach new heights at No Mercy.
