TNA Star Not Ruling Out John Cena Appearance

TNA Star Not Ruling Out John Cena Appearance

A current champion in TNA is aware that anything can happen in the world of wrestling, including an appearance by John Cena at an upcoming event.

Cena has made it very clear that the last time is now as he embarks on his year-long retirement tour that will officially begin at the Royal Rumble. With Cena looking to make his final year in WWE a memorable one, fans are prepared to expect the unexpected from the Hollywood star, which may see Cena turn up in another promotion.

Following the recent announcement that WWE and TNA will continue working together for years to come, fans have fantasy-booked crossover matches and appearances featuring stars from each promotion. Speaking on his Extreme Life podcast, Matt Hardy was asked about a Cena appearance and admitted it is not out of the realm of possibility:

“Maybe. I mean, John’s a guy who knows how to do things that garner a lot of chatter and that is something that would garner a lot of chatter, especially if they put him in a good position where he looks favorable and was doing good stuff. I wouldn’t rule it out of the realm of possibility, especially knowing John Cena. I feel like he’s going to go out with a bang over the course of this year. Him dropping in, just imagine him shaking up at TNA being advertised for the Slammiversary at the PBS Arena, right? That would be something that would be pretty amazing.”

Former WWE Champion Would Love To Induct John Cena Into Hall Of Fame

Given his accomplishments over the past 23 years, Cena is guaranteed to be a headline inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame when the time comes. Speaking about John Cena in a recent interview, a former World Champion stated that they would be honoured to induct the 16-time World Champion.

H/t to Fightful.
