TNA President Carlos Silva Praises Ex-WWE Star: “He’s Got A Big Presence”

TNA President is all praise for this former WWE star.

A former NFL and WWE star, AJ Francis, aka Top Dolla, was released by the Stamford-based promotion in 2023. He soon found himself in the Indies before joining TNA Wrestling in 2024.

Soon after joining Total Nonstop Action, AJ Francis became a regular name on the roster. Earlier this year, WWE’s collaboration with TNA brought Francis back to the NXT roster.

Recently, speaking to MuscleManMalcolm on Muscle Memory, TNA President Carlos Silva heaped praise on the 35-year-old star following his impressive Slammiversary performance,

“Yeah, AJ has got a big personality. He’s got a big presence. He’s an amazing athlete; if you see the things that he’s done on the big field with the NFL, and now he’s on the big field in the TNA wrestling ring. He’s great to be around, like AJ; he brings it. Again, big smiles, big energy. He’s always on, and that’s what he showed at Slammiversary. I mean, the stuff that happened during the Ladder Match was insane.”

AJ Francis Reflects On Almost Breaking His Legs At TNA Slammiversary

At the recently concluded TNA Slammiversary event, AJ Francis and KC Navarro failed to capture the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a brutal ladder match.

One point in the match, fans saw Francis land feet first into a ringside ladder and get his legs stuck there. Soon after, on social media, Francis reflected on almost breaking his legs at the event.
