TNA Issues More Bans; Talents Now Subjected To Financial Punishment

TNA Ban

TNA Wrestling has reportedly issued more bans.

Earlier this month, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that following a TNA talent meeting, blading or heavy bleeding was banned with immediate effect. The reasons behind the ban were cited to protect the talent and make the promotion future-proof.

However, later, Jon Alba of The Takedown on SI reported that TNA talent and officials reached out to indicate that the meeting was misrepresented, and instead, there was no ban on blood. Now, a latest report from Fightful Select has emerged, providing a more detailed take on the entire banning scenario.

According to Fightful Select’s interview with Steve Maclin, it was noted that Maclin believed that the blood ban was taking place, so once the bloodshed on television returns, it means a lot more.

Soon, Fightful Select also reported on several other changes taking place in the promotion. As per a memo passed down by the talent relations department, slaps are no longer allowed unless approved by an agent. In addition to this, the throat slash gesture is also no longer allowed and will come with a $100 fine each time it’s done.

Indi Hartwell Reveals Why She Signed With TNA Following Her WWE Exit

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Indi Hartwell opened up on her reasons for signing with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

“It’s not my intention right now to sign with TNA so I can go back to NXT. I went to TNA because TNA is a company I grew up watching, and I’m genuinely a huge fan of TNA, and I feel like that’s where I can thrive the most. I’m only 28. I do feel like there is a path back to WWE, someday. I’m not closing the door on that. All my friends are still there, and there is a lot I didn’t get to do. It’s definitely something I can see happening.”
