The finalists of the Tokyo Joshi Pro’s Tokyo Princess Cup 2021 have been confirmed following today’s semi-finals.
In the show’s main event, Maki Itoh finally overcame long-term rival Mizuki to earn a spot in the finals.
Mizuki, who was coming into the tournament looking for her third consecutive TPC victory, was forced to tap out to the Itoh Deluxe after an enthralling and emotional contest.
On the other half of the bracket, exciting prospect Miu Watanabe was edged out by TJPW veteran Shoko Nakajima, who claimed victory following a locomotion northern lights suplex.
Itoh and Shoko will contest the finals on Sunday 15th, with the winner likely to receive a title shot against current Princess of Princess Champion, Miyu Yamashita.
