Multiple Title Matches Announced For AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

Four AEW titles will be on the line when the promotion rolls into Grand Slam on September 21st at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

With AEW Grand Slam just around the corner, the card for the the special edition of Dynamite is finally taking shape.

The show will be headlined by the AEW World Title match between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson after they saw off Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho respectively on September 14th. To add extra spice to an already exciting match, both men will be representing the Blackpool Combat Club.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that The Acclaimed with challenge Swerve In Our Glory for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The announcement was made after Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland successfully defended the gold against the Lucha Brothers. Swerve In Our Glory recently defeated The Acclaimed at All Out.

After the match Orange Cassidy attacked PAC backstage as he was interviewed about the defeat suffered by two thirds of Death Triangle. With the British star distracted, Cassidy jumped him from behind to leave him laying. It was then announced that the two would meet at Arthur Ashe Stadium with PAC’s All-Atlantic Title on the line.

Elsewhere, Toni Storm defend her Interim AEW Women’s World Championship against Britt Baker, Athena and Serena Deeb. The match was made after Baker and Deeb teamed together to defeat Storm and Athena on Dynamite. The Professor and The Dentist scored the win via a steel chair following a distraction.

After the match, Jamie Hayter appeared and hit Storm with the chair, but continued to be at odds with friend Britt Baker.
