Tiffany Stratton Praised By Paul Heyman Following Recent WWE Performance

Tiffany Stratton as the NXT Women's Champion

Tiffany Stratton received positive feedback from Paul Heyman following her appearance at Payback.

Cited as one of the fastest-rising stars in WWE, Tiffany Stratton made the trip to the main roster Premium Live Event to antagonise Becky Lynch. Even though Lynch had defeated Trish Stratus in a well-received cage match earlier in the night, Stratton was quick to point out that Lynch still had never been the champion of Tuesday night at that point.

Speaking with WrestleRant, Stratton revealed that Heyman praised her performance and her ability to go toe-to-toe in a promo battle with The Man:

“I actually had Paul Heyman come up to me, and he said that I did a really good job in my backstage with Becky with holding my own. Yeah, just like holding my own and being able to stand out even with Becky Lynch right there next to me.”

The former champion continued, stating that she is feeling more confident about her inevitable main roster call-up due to multiple appearances on Raw:

“Yeah, it’s definitely a little reassuring for sure to know that they have been putting me on Raw and giving me backstages here and there. It’s definitely been reassuring and I’m really excited [for] when I get called up. I hope it’s soon, but whenever it’s right, I will be ready.”

Paul Heyman has also credited a number of rising stars in WWE with having a bright future, with one star admitting they are starting to feel the pressure.

Tiffany Stratton Praised By Rival

Following Stratton’s loss to Becky Lynch on NXT, the former champion had an opportunity to get her title back in an Extreme Rules match at No Mercy. Both competitors went to war in a match that saw fighting all over the arena and champion and challenger shedding blood.

Before the match took place, Becky Lynch put over her challenger strong by stating that Tiffany Stratton has got everything required to be a main roster success.
