Tiffany Stratton Now Has The Third Longest WWE Women's Championship Reign In History

Tiffany Stratton has reached a major milestone in her current reign as WWE Women’s Champion.

Stratton won her first singles title on the main roster on the January 3 episode of SmackDown by successfully cashing in her Money In The Bank contract during the WWE Women’s Championship match between then-champion Nia Jax and Naomi.

As of September 11, Stratton’s reign stands at 250 days, making her the longest-reigning current champion in WWE. WrestleOps shared the news of this achievement on their X/Twitter account.:

Her record-breaking reign became possible after the title was rebranded from the RAW Women’s Championship in June 2023. With this milestone, Stratton surpassed IYO SKY’s reign of 246 days, which ended at WrestleMania 40.

This accomplishment also makes her reign the third longest in the title’s history, behind Bianca Belair’s 420 days and Becky Lynch’s 373 days as champion. Notably, all other main roster titles have changed hands during this time, and the only current champion with a reign close to hers is NXT Champion Oba Femi, whose reign stands at 245 days.

The Women’s World Championship has also experienced some impressive, lengthy reigns, with Rhea Ripley and Bayley both achieving 380-day reigns. Following them is Liv Morgan, whose reign lasted for 226 days.

The first woman to win the title was Becky Lynch, who had five reigns overall. However, she is outdone by Charlotte Flair, who has won the title seven times. The title was vacated recently by Naomi, and a new champion will be decided at WrestlePalooza, where Stephanie Vaquer will face IYO SKY to lay claim to the title.

We at ITR Wrestling would like to congratulate Tiffany Stratton for achieving this historic landmark.

What Is The Next For Tiffany Stratton In WWE

On last night’s episode of NXT, Stratton appeared alongside Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley. The trio exchanged heated words with Jacy Jayne, who boldly claimed to be the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time.

This confrontation set up a six-woman tag team match, where Stratton, Vaquer, and Ripley will face Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) at NXT Homecoming on September 16.

Stratton is also set to defend her title in a SummerSlam rematch against Jade Cargill on the September 12 episode of SmackDown, which may have major implications for the title being defended at the next Premium Live Event, WrestlePalooza.
