WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton recently gave justification on the off-script attack at “The Queen” Charlotte Flair.
Stratton can be as dangerous on the mic, as she is in the ring during her matches. Flair got a taste of that during an episode of SmackDown on April 4, 2025. Wade Barrett was handling a confrontation between the 2025 Rumble winner, Flair, who had chosen WWE Champion, Stratton, as her WrestleMania 41 opponent. Just as Flair was giving her answer, the entire crowd started booing, and the champion also started a verbal attack. Things heated up as Stratton went off-script, involving Flair’s marriage life and divorce.
During her recent appearance on theIMPAULSIVE podcast, Stratton explained what happened during the verbal exchange with Flair. As Logan Paul laid out the whole incident, connecting it with what the WWE Universe saw on Unreal, and asked about her overall thoughts on the incident.
“Charlotte Flair is Charlotte Flair. She’s a legend. And I was the champion at the time. Things were heated. She’s very competitive. I’m also very competitive. I’m trying to prove to Charlotte Flair I can go, I can stand up to her, I’m worthy of this title.” Stratton explained. (H/T WrestleTalk)
Adding about the intensity, she added that things got heated and she had to apologize. Despite being the champion, Tiffany Stratton didn’t let her ego win and accepted her mistake, showing professionalism and had no problem apologising.
“Yes and no. I think what I did was justified, but maybe I shouldn’t have gone that far. But I do feel like I was justified in what I did.”
Tiffany Stratton’s Personal Jab Led To Charlotte Flair Involving Ludwig Kaiser in The WWE Segment
During the SmackDown confrontation between Flair and Stratton, things went out of hand as the champion went personal and attacked Flair’s divorce. As Stratton was addressing Flair being “The Queen,” the Rumble winner interrupted her, triggering the champion to go off-script. Following Stratton’s personal jab, Flair didn’t hold back at all. She involved Ludwig Kaiser, Stratton’s boyfriend, in their argument.
