Tiffany Stratton almost injured herself as a spot went horribly wrong on WWE SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton is the current WWE Women’s Champion and is primarily on SmackDown. The star was in action on the latest episode of the blue brand as she defended her title against Jade Cargill. The stars have been going at it for a while and have been at loggerheads. Both stars’ rivalry went to the next level as Cargill refused to let go of her opportunity to challenge for the women’s title once again.
However, Stratton almost injured herself on the latest episode of SmackDown, and things could have ended in disaster.
Tiffany Stratton Had An Awkward Landing During WWE SmackDown
In a spot during the match, Stratton attempted a moonsault but had a terrible landing. Stratton is no stranger to attempting or even executing a moonsault. The star is pretty athletic and has a ton of experience with the move. However, not all nights are the same, and on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, The Buff Barbie tried the move while Jade Cargill moved out of the way.
This led to Stratton botching the landing and her head seemingly bashing against the floor. While the floor outside the ring is padded, it can still lead to some gruesome injuries or even a concussion. Her legs were also in a weird position, and she could have easily snapped her knees or her ankle.

Stratton is currently not booked to be in a match at Wrestlepalooza, which is set to take place on September 20. There have been a lot of voices online to utilize the star more, as she has mostly been restricted to backstage segments and the odd match here and there. Fans were also quite concerned for the star after the botched spot on WWE SmackDown and stated that she should remove the move from her arsenal.
The move was indeed dangerous and could have resulted in Stratton seriously injuring herself. It remains to be seen whether she will attempt the moonsault to the outside again in the near future.
