Charlotte Flair Helping NXT's Tiffany Stratton Behind-The-Scences

The WrestleMania 41 match between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton is now hotter than ever.

On the 4th April episode of SmackDown, fans experienced a heated promo segment between Stratton and Flair. Over the weekend, several reports emerged about the backstage reaction to Charlotte Flair and Stratton’s segments. However, in a new report by Fightful Select, more details about the Tiffany Stratton-Charlotte Flair promo wreck were shared.

While Charlotte Flair issued an online apology after the segment, original plans for the segment were also revealed by WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge. Although with just around one week left for their WrestleMania match, Stratton recently shared a message for The Queen.

Speaking to Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun as part of the Onefall podcast, Stratton claimed that she was here to take over Flair’s place. Despite calling Flair her idol, the champion is now ready to make her presence felt.

“Yeah, I think this match doesn’t even it doesn’t even start with the past six weeks. It doesn’t even start with her winning the Royal Rumble and her picking me. I think it starts with she’s the reason why I got into wrestling. She is who I looked up to, who I saw on my TV screen, who I idolized, and I had it already set in my mind that she is a dream match of mine, even before I got signed to WWE.

So this goes back much farther than that. She’s obviously one of my idols, and at WrestleMania, I think this is when I solidify that I am the new generation and and I’m here to take her place.”

Tiffany Stratton Speaks Out On The Infamous Promo Segment

Speaking in a new interview with The Babyfaces Podcast, Tiffany Stratton shared her thoughts on the ‘off-script’ segment.

“Being so new into this business and being so new as champion, I don’t think she really expected me to stand up to her and I don’t think she expected me to, almost clap back. All I have to say is, it’s live TV, stakes are high.

We’re going into WrestleMania. I have the title, I want to keep the title. I’m going to pull out every stop that I can and people want to see our match. I think we did a very good job or getting people wanting to see our match and invested in our story. Now, I’m ready to put on the best women’s match ever and ready to go to war.”
