Tiffany Stratton Addresses Comparisons To AEW's Mariah May & Other WWE Stars

Tiffany Stratton has responded to fans who have compared her to AEW star Mariah May and other stars in WWE.

Debuting on the main roster at the 2024 Royal Rumble and being officially called up a few days later, the former NXT Women’s Champion is one of the fastest-rising stars on SmackDown and is many fans’ favourite to be either Queen of the Ring or Miss Money in the Bank later in the year.

Although Stratton is carving out her own path in WWE and has been praised for her in-ring work, some wrestling fans have compared the SmackDown star to other wrestlers, most commonly AEW’s Mariah May.

Speaking with ComicBook Nation, Stratton was asked specifically about the Mariah May comparisons and how she feels about it, to which Stratton responded that she is also compared to a current and future WWE Hall of Famer:

“Obviously, it’s annoying. Just because we have the same coloured hair it does not mean that we look alike or we stealing each other’s gimmicks or styles. I get compared to so many other people, Trish Stratus, Charlotte Flair. Honestly, I think everyone is on their own path, and I think Mariah May is amazing. She’s such a great wrestler, she’s gorgeous. But yeah, it can be annoying for sure, but I feel like wrestling fans are going to be wrestling fans and [they think] everyone is always a copy of this person or this person is imitating this person. So it’s nothing new, to be honest.”

Mariah May Has Previously Addressed Tiffany Stratton Comparisons

Much like Stratton has been asked about the comparisons to the AEW star, May has also been previously asked about the comparisons to the WWE star. Speaking in a previous interview, Mariah May discussed fans comparing her to Tiffany Stratton and gave her thoughts on the rising star.

In recent news, a rumour regarding Tiffany Stratton being in trouble with WWE following a TikTok video has been debunked.
