Thunder Rosa – “The Best Female Wrestlers Are Not In One Company”

Thunder Rosa has taken to social media to respond to claims made by Triple H that WWE is home to the best female wrestlers on the planet.

Triple H was speaking on the NXT TakeOver: In Your House media call, where he was asked by Inside The Ropes‘ Lead Writer Gary Cassidy, about Mickie James’ comments about wanting the best stars to appear at NWA EMPOWERRR regardless of contractual status and whether WWE will provide any – or have considered another all women’s show.

In response, Triple H dismissed the suggestion of the need for an all-women’s show, adding that WWE had already done one.

The Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development for WWE continued, saying that the best women in the world are already with WWE. Doubling down, The Game added:

“And my opinion – again, my opinion – the best female performers in the world are in WWE. And then if they’re not, they want to be.”

However, posting on Twitter AEW star Thunder Rosa took issue with the comments. Rosa who has featured in her own highly rated bouts with the likes of Britt Baker, said that there are talented women all over the world.

Thunder Rosa is currently on quite the winning streak in AEW, having not lost in singles action since being defeated by Nyla Rose back in March. Her only singles defeat during that period was a number one contenders match in NWA against Kamille.

NXT TakeOver: In Your House airs this Sunday, exclusively on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network globally.
