Huge Three-Way AEW World Tag Team Title Match Set For July 13th

AEW Dynamite set

The Young Bucks will defend their AEW World Tag Team Titles in a huge three-way match on the July 13th episode of Dynamite.

On the July 6th edition of AEW Dynamite, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland teamed up to take on The Butcher and The Blade. Both teams knew that victory would put them right into World Tag Team Title contention, so the action was fast and furious from the opening bell.

The tone was set by The Blade who slapped Lee straight in the face as the match began. Although Butcher and Blade enjoyed moments of dominance, it was Swerve in our Glory who scored the win, with a huge Doomsday senton.

However, Lee and Strickland weren’t able to celebrate for long, as they were interrupted by Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks. The Team Taz members explained that they were tired of being disrespected, while Starks became increasingly irate. Just as he was bout to combust, the two teams were joined by AEW World Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks.

The Bucks knocked the teams for being unable to defeat Jurassic Express, pointing out that they beat them to win the Tag Team Titles. This led to a challenge being laid down by the champions who promised to go “triple or nothing.”

While being serenaded by vociferous FTR chants, the Bucks challenged Hobbs & Starks and Lee and Strickland to a three-way AEW World Tag Team Title match for the following episode of Dynamite.

Dax Harwood quickly responded to the FTR chants, commenting on Twitter that he heard the crowd, while sharing the AEW tag team rankings.

Elsewhere on the show, Wardlow defeated Scorpio Sky to claim the TNT Championship.
