Following Lacey Evans qualifying on last Friday’s SmackDown, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins have advanced to this year’s Money In The Bank ladder matches.
WWE Money In The Bank is scheduled this year for Saturday, 2 July from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with the annual titular ladder matches now beginning to take shape.
The latest broadcast of Monday Night Raw saw Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan advance to the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, while Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins became the first entrant confirmed for the men’s match. Bliss and Morgan, meanwhile, join Lacey Evans, leaving five spots open in the women’s lineup.
Alexa and Liv were victorious over Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H to qualify for the match, with Alexa Bliss spiking her former tag team partner Nikki A.S.H with a snap DDT. As for Seth Rollins, he rolled up AJ Styles in order to qualify for the Money In The Bank match after targeting Styles’ leg for the duration of the match.

All three of the newly-qualified entrants are no stranger to the Money In The Bank concept, with 2022 marking the third appearance for Alexa Bliss and Seth Rollins, and the second for Liv Morgan. Bliss and Rollins are also previous winners of the match; ‘The Goddess’ was victorious in 2018, capturing the Raw Women’s Championship from Nia Jax the same night, while ‘The Visionary’ won the briefcase in 2014, cashing in successfully at WrestleMania 31.
Lacey Evans defeated Xia Li on the 10 June edition of Friday Night SmackDown to qualify for the women’s match, with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus both failing to advance to the men’s bout after fighting to a no contest.
The next Money In The Bank qualifier will take place on next Monday’s Raw, as Becky Lynch and Asuka collide.
