Ahead of the first Monday Night RAW post-SummerSlam, three new matches have been announced
Following the incredibly well-received SummerSlam, three new matches have been announced for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.
Current WWE Undisputed Tag Team champions The Usos will defend their belts against Rey & Dominik Mysterio. Both teams came out of SummerSlam victorious with wins over the Street Profits and Judgment Day respectively.
Following Bobby Lashley’s dominant victory over Theory at SummerSlam, a new challenger for The All-Mighty’s United States championship will be determined after a series of Triple Threat matches.
The first match will see a clash between Ciampa, Dolph Ziggler and Chad Gable, while the second will feature The Miz, Mustafa Ali and AJ Styles battling for supremacy.
The winners of both Triple Threat will face off in a match to determine the number one contender to Lashley’s title at a still unspecified date.
Ahead of the show it has been reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi could be on their way back to the company. The report states that an “agreement has been reached” for the pair to return to WWE television. In addition, that return could come on August 1st.
It is interesting to note that WWE have also got in on the action by teasing the return of the pair on social media.
Meanwhile, it has also come to light that Becky Lynch is set for a spell on the side-lines following her recent defeat to Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. It has been reported that Lynch separated her shoulder during the match, but battled through the pain anyway. At time of writing it’s is 50/50 as to whether the star will require surgery.
