LA Knight has recalled one of his earlier appearances in WWE that became a hit online during his meteoric 2023 rise.
Prior to Knight becoming one of the biggest names on the roster, The Megastar had many appearances on TV in the wider world as he starred in multiple commercials and briefly appeared on an episode of the hit sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In addition to this, Knight was one of the extras in Triple H’s workout video that was recorded at the Performance Center and released in 2014, which saw Knight yell his catchphrase “Yeah!” in between sets.
Speaking with Joel Pearl ofFightful at Money in the Bank, Knight elaborated on how the appearance came together:
“That’s the only workout I think I’ve done. It was interesting, to say the least. I don’t know that any of us knew what we were in for. They were just like, ‘bring workout clothes with you.’ Then we got there and they had other workout clothes for us anyway, so it didn’t really matter. We came in, and they wanted to keep everything hush-hush and quiet.
We had an idea that we were going to be doing something physical when we got there, but we didn’t know exactly what. Then we found out we were doing the old Triple H workout video. If I remember correctly, the main chant was like ‘thick.’ We’d hit our shoulders and [yells] ‘THICK!’ or something like that. I can’t remember what it was.”
LA Knight Set For Championship Match At SummerSlam
While not confirmed, many are anticipating that Knight will challenge Logan Paul for the United States Championship in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. During a recent episode of SmackDown, LA Knight confronted Logan Paul after trespassing on the US Champion’s property.
