Trish Stratus says Cody Rhodes isn’t the only one with an unfinished story in WWE.
The 2023 rivalry between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus lasted for months, beginning when Stratus turned on Lynch during their Women’s Tag Team Championship match back in April of 2022.
Instrumental to their feud was Zoey Stark, who aligned with Stratus at Night of Champions and helped the WWE Hall of Famer defeat Lynch in their first singles bout.
The feud culminated in a highly-praised steel cage match at Payback in September, where Stark ended her alliance with Stratus and turned on her after the match.
Speaking on A&E Biography: WWE Legends, Trish Stratus made it clear that she hasn’t ruled out a return to WWE, saying there’s more to her story:
“Cody isn’t the only one with an unfinished story. I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I’ll still keep going. I’ll never half-ass it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we’ll see.”
Later, Stratus praised Stark for her part in the feud and teased a future confrontation with the star.
“When Zoey got introduced, I was very pleased with that. The chance to influence someone else’s career, it means a lot. She was great to work with and she loved to learn–and there is more to the story between me and Zoey Stark.” (h/t Sports Illustrated)
Zoey Stark Wants To Face Trish Stratus
Speaking in December 2023 as part of the Busted Open Holiday Party, Zoey Stark alluded to wanting to finish her story with Stratus as well. After recounting her whirlwind 2023, the star said:
“I really want to finish my story with Trish Stratus. I really want to do something with her. So that would be a lot of fun to figure out where it goes. That’s exactly what I want to see, so hopefully we can get that to happen.” (h/t Fightful)
