Thea Trinidad, Formerly Zelina Vega, Pays Tribute To Andrade Following Release

Thea Trinidad, formerly known as Zelina Vega in WWE, has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Andrade following the former United States Champion following his WWE release.

Trinidad, who was released from the company in late 2020, would call former on-screen partner Andrade an “amazing person” and “one of the most talented in the business” before tipping him for success regardless of circumstance.

“Since the moment I met you, I knew that you not only were an amazing person but also one of the most talented in this business and youโ€™d be successful no matter what. Iโ€™m so grateful to know you, share these memories and have a brother for life. Love you hermano #TranquiloForLife”

Andrade was released on March 21st, with the news breaking shortly after WWE’s Fastlane pay-per-view. Andrade would tweeting โ€œgood newsโ€ with the hashtags โ€œtranquilloโ€ and โ€œhappyโ€ during the event, before WWE confirmed Andradeโ€™s release. In his first tweet following the news, the former United States Champion would thank his fans for the support, as well as the talent and workers who were kind to him โ€“ as well as Triple H, William Regal and Paul Heyman. It later emerged that Andrade may not be subject to a non-compete clause.
