The Young Bucks will defend the AEW Tag Team Championships for the first time since they won them in April.
The Young Bucks defeated FTR to capture the AEW Tag Team Titles at Dynasty on April 21st. At the time of writing, it has been 112 days since their victory, but the duo have not defended the gold in all that time.
The pair are in no short supply of challengers, and on the June 20th edition of Dynamite, The Acclaimed overcame The Young Bucks in a Tag Team Title Eliminator match to become the Number 1 Contenders for the titles. Now, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens will finally get their shot at the gold.
During the August 10th edition of Collision, it was announced that The Acclaimed will challenge The Young Bucks for the titles on August 14th on Dynamite. The bout will also mark the first bout Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have competed in since The Elite lost in a Blood & Guts match against The Acclaimed, Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and Swerve Strickland.

Why Have The Young Bucks Been Off AEW TV?
It has been reported that The Young Bucks have not been on AEW TV due to the conditions in their contracts. The stars are said to have a set number of dates in their latest deal, meaning that their appearances come down to when Tony Khan wants to use them.
