The Young Bucks have confirmed that they are indeed “Suspended AF.”
In the post-AEW All Out media scrum CM Punk let it be known that he was unimpressed with a number of individuals in the locker room pointing to the stories surrounding Colt Cabana.
After Punk took aim at the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page in particular, there was an altercation backstage which saw chairs and punches thrown while Omega was allegedly bitten by Ace Steel.
As a result, all involved were suspended and the AEW World Title held by Punk, and the Trios Titles held by The Elite were declared vacant.
While Michael Nakazawa, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler have now had their suspensions lifted, the other stars who were central to the fracas remain off AEW programming. In a nod to their current situation the Young Bucks changed their Twitter location to “Suspended AF.” The Jackson brothers have since changed it again to “Not sure, tbh.”
In recent weeks they have also set it as “home” and “your head, rent free.”
Following his suspension Kenny Omega headed to Japan where he made a number of public appearances, although he wasn’t involved at the Tokyo Games Show on behalf of AEW has had previously been planned. In a later appearance at the event on a Resident Evil panel for Capcom TV, a bruise was clearly visible on his left arm with many suggesting that it is the result of being bitten by Steel.
It has also been confirmed that Omega will miss AAA Triplemania on October 15th despite originally being scheduled to headline the event.
