Fans of The Young Bucks can rejoice as the former AEW World Tag Team Champions reveal they have a partner for the Trios Title tournament.
AEW has cornered the niche in open secrets in wrestling in recent years with fans packing out the United Center in Chicago to witness the wrestling return of CM Punk despite him never actually being advertised for the show.
Tony Khan looks to be hoping to repeat the trick with The Young Bucks entering the Trios Title tournament despite not having a named third man. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish made clear they wanted nothing to do with The Bucks when they turned on them, leaving Matt and Nick Jackson looking to an old friend for help.
The Young Bucks asked Hangman Adam Page to team up with them but given the history and issues there, Page said he’d rather sit this one out and support his friends in The Dark Order in the tournament.
Undeterred, the search continued but now with a new bio on Twitter, The Bucks have announced “we found a partner” for their match on AEW Dynamite against Andrade El Idolo, RUSH, and Dragon Lee.
As far as the open secret to who will be joining The Young Bucks, it appears former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega’s return to AEW has all but been confirmed in a new report.
