The WWE Star The Undertaker Believes Has Unlimited Potential

The Undertaker is a huge fan of a current WWE Champion.

In an era where high-flying moves and complex sequences are more popular among performers than ever before, one star has set himself from the pack by being a no-nonsense physical powerhouse, the Intercontinental Champion Gunther. The leader of Imperium has dominated the division and is increasing his record-breaking run with the title each day, further cementing himself as one of the biggest stars on the Raw roster and in the whole company.

Prioritising hard-hitting strikes and making every move impactful, The Ring General has gained a significant following among wrestling fans who prefer a more traditional style, including the Hall of Famer.

Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, Undertaker revealed that he is a big fan of Gunther and praised The Ring General’s match with Dominik Mysterio, which was well received despite the fact that both Superstars are heels:

“I really like him. I think the sky’s the limit for him. I think he’s a little bit of a throwback to a different era, but has the ability to work and tell stories. I mean he just had that match with Dom [Mysterio] which is tough, a heel versus a heel is a tough match when somebody doesn’t turn. He kept Dominik a heel and he kept himself a heel, and I’m really, really high on him. But, yeah, we would probably fistfight about two chops in.”

The Undertaker Happy To See Legendary Career Acknowledged By WWE

In what is the latest sign that WWE is now in a new era and the many unwritten rules of the previous regime are starting to fade away, announcers frequently reference performers who used to wrestle for them but have since gone on to other companies, such as Matt and Jeff Hardy when discussing the upcoming WrestleMania match between Jimmy and Jey Uso. The Undertaker discussed another surprising WWE acknowledgement on his podcast, stating that they deserved it.

During a recent Q and A, The Undertaker revealed which move was the most painful towards the end of his career.
