The WWE Star John Cena Believes Is The Most Underrated In The History Of The Business

John Cena WWE

John Cena is a huge fan of a former rival.

Having competed in WWE every year since 2002, the 16-time World Champion has mixed it up with some of the biggest stars of multiple eras including The Rock, CM Punk and Roman Reigns. While all 3 went on to become massive stars inside the squared circle and beyond and are regarded as some of the greatest of all time, others are not viewed in the same way despite their accomplishments.

Making his way into the world of professional wrestling via Tough Enough, The Miz was previously known for his time on reality TV and had heat with the locker room immediately upon arrival. Despite being kicked out of the locker room and repeatedly not seen as the top guy, Miz has gone on to win every championship in the promotion twice and has been a part of multiple high-profile feuds in his near 20-year career in WWE. While many fans have not given Miz his flowers for what he has accomplished, Cena has paid his former rival a huge compliment.

During a trailer for the upcoming A & E Biography documentary on The Miz, Cena appears as one of the talking heads and hails the former World Champion as the most underrated of all time:

“He’s the most, not one of the most, the most underrated WWE superstar in the history of the business.”

While his rivalry with The Miz is now fondly remembered, Mickie James has looked back on a confusing storyline with John Cena that many forget even happened.
