The WWE Hall Of Famer JBL Says Was The “Smelliest Guy Ever”

The WWE Hall Of Famer JBL Says Was The

WWE Hall of Famer JBL shared an unforgettable story about the “stinkiest” opponent he ever wrestled with – fellow WWE Hall of Famer Big Van Vader.

Speaking on the Something To Wrestle podcast, JBL revealed that after an intense match with Vader, he was forced to shave off his beard due to an unbearable odour that lingered long after the bout.

I will tell you, the stinkiest guy was Vader, Leon White. It was brutal.

JBL recalled, before adding that he held deep respect for his former opponent.

Now I loved Leon, and Leon treated me like a son almost.

During Vader’s final WWE match, he specifically requested to work with Bradshaw, even offering to let him kick out of his finishing move – a gesture Vader rarely extended. This match, however, left Bradshaw with an unexpected problem. He explained that he had grown a full beard to give himself a more rugged look, but after the match, he noticed an overwhelming stench in his room that he likened to the smell of a dead body.

Bro, he beat the s**t outta me.

Bradshaw said, recounting how Vader’s punches were so intense that his gloves left a lasting smell on his beard.

I realised Vader had punched me so much in the face that my beard stunk from his gloves.

Unable to get rid of the smell, Bradshaw had to make a drastic decision. He revealed that he was forced to shave his beard in the early hours of the morning to finally rid himself of the odour.

What WWE Angle Did JBL Say Was The Dumbest Idea I’ve Ever Heard?

JBL recalled how the WWE Brawl for All was the dumbest idea that he’d ever heard of. He recalled being asked if he would compete in the Brawl for All and said that he would do it if he was placed into a different bracket than former UFC Champion Dan Severn as he wanted a chance to get through some of the early fights. Despite not thinking it was a great idea Bradshaw said that the pay was great and was happy to do it.
