The WWE Hall Of Famer Arn Anderson Says Was

WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson has opened up about the one wrestler he dreaded facing in the ring.

The legendary grappler surprisingly admitted in a candid revelation on his podcast “ARN,” to feeling anxious when squaring off against the late Vader, another WWE Hall of Fame inductee. Vader was renowned for his incredibly physical style and imposing presence in the ring. Anderson’s admission sheds light on the respect and, indeed, fear that Vader commanded among his peers.

I’d rather Vader have on my team than be standing across the ring from him.

Anderson didn’t mince words when describing the experience of facing Vader.

It was no picnic, pal. He would beat the ever-loving crap out of you, and it’s not like you could just out-muscle him and overwhelm him.

Arn Anderson went on to reveal his mindset when preparing for a bout with Vader.

My goal for going to the ring was just to live through this. Tomorrow, everything will feel a lot different.

Perhaps most tellingly, Anderson asserted that any wrestler claiming not to feel anxious before facing Vader was being dishonest.

Anybody that is walking to the ring to fight Vader, if they don’t tell you they’re anxious, they’re lying. Call it whatever you want cowardice, common sense, whatever you want to label it as that dude was bad news.

Which WWE Hall Of Famer Did Arn Anderson Credit For His Career?

Arn Anderson credited fellow WWE Hall of Famer Junkyard Dog for his career taking off. Anderson said that it was JYD’s idea to send Arn to Jim Crockett Promotions to team with Ole Anderson as JYD felt that the two wrestlers looked quite similar so they could portray two brothers in a tag team, this led to Arn teaming with Ole and become Arn Anderson.
