Anderson emphasised that Foley’s extreme wrestling style, notably his infamous bumps off the apron to the floor, took a significant toll on his body.

Recalling a poignant conversation with Foley, Anderson vividly described his initial shock at witnessing Foley’s daring stunts, to which Foley responded with a poignant revelation about his financial struggles. Anderson’s recollection of the exchange epitomised Foley’s unwavering commitment to his craft, despite the physical and financial hardships he endured.

The first time that I witnessed him taking these bumps off the apron to the floor on his back and all that stuff, I went up to him and I said, it’s a famous conversation. I said ‘Jesus Christ, Cactus. You ain’t got no sense.’ And he said, ‘No, Mr. Anderson, I don’t have any money.’ That says it all, don’t it?”
