The Undertaker shared his perspective on the current character portrayal of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The WWE Hall of Famer discussed the possibility of Rhodes transitioning from his current role as a babyface to a heel.
On a recent episode of “Six Feet Under,” The Undertaker expressed his belief that Rhodes possesses qualities that could make him a compelling heel, stating:
I think he would be a good heel, I think he’s got heel qualities. He gives me a heel vibe, like I could see him very easily being smug … I can see it, like I can feel it in his character.
However, Undertaker also addressed the underdog nature of Rhodes’ character, emphasising that regardless of a potential heel turn, Rhodes will always maintain a sense of believability when facing challenges. He highlighted Rhodes’ ability to convey the struggle of an underdog, stating:
The thing I think with Cody, he’s always going to be a little bit undersized right? He’ll still be able to be the underdog … I mean I can just see GUNTHER you know chopping the crap out of him and Cody caving in, it’s just having to fight from underneath and fight for insurmountable odds because that title that he’s fought so hard for the last two years is his now and he don’t want to give it up.
Rhodes is currently preparing for his first title defence against AJ Styles at WWE Backlash.
What Did The Undertaker Say He Had A Disagreement With CM Punk About?
The Undertaker spoke about how he had a disagreement with the way CM Punk dressed during his early days with WWE. According to Undertaker while on a WWE European tour, he had to have a discussion with Punk over his attire as WWE wanted wrestlers to dress smart while on tour but Punk wore his usual attire of casual clothing. Undertaker recalled taking Punk aside and telling him that he was getting heat with the other wrestlers for not following the dress code and Punk asked him “What about Cena?” to which Undertaker replied, “You’re not Cena.”
