The Undertaker Has Heartwarming Interaction During Surprise SDCC Appearance

San Diego Comic-Con is always full of surprises, and this year featured an unannounced appearance by The Undertaker!

The yearly San Diego Comic-Con is known for being the first place to see new material across the world of pop culture, be it new movie trailers, show announcements, or action figures.

As is customary, Mattel held a panel to reveal its new line of WWE action figures during the convention, featuring new figures for Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar as well sets featuring the likes of John Cena & Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch & Bianca Belair, and The Usos.

While the reveal was underway, the lights went dark and a familiar gong noise sounded throughout the convention hall. While fans in attendance may have expected this to lead to the reveal of a new Undertaker action figure, they were shocked when none other than the Deadman himself made an appearance, causing fans to launch into cheers of “Undertaker” and “Thank you Taker.”

When the frenzy subsided, the Deadman helped to unveil the rest of the Mattel figure line.

During the Q&A portion of the panel, many questions were directed toward the surprise guest of honor, but one fan in particular simply wanted to thank the WWE Hall of Famer, saying:

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. Thank you.”

The Undertaker was obviously touched by this message, and brought the fan up on stage to shake his hand, and he could be seen mouthing “No, thank you” in response.

Though the Phenom has no plans to wrestle again after his retirement and 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction, he recently used the old wrestling adage of “never say never” in regards to his future.
