The Undertaker recounted a hilarious prank played by Vince McMahon on none other than The Big Show Paul Wight during a trip to Iraq for a Tribute to the Troops show.
The Undertaker revealed in an episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway that the incident took place on a private jet as Undertaker, Big Show, Vince McMahon, and other WWE Superstars were en route to the show. Show had brought along an air mattress to catch some rest during the flight, unaware of the mischievous plan brewing in McMahon’s mind.
Big Show thought he was being really smart, he brought with him this giant blow-up mattress, which was a great idea he was just with the wrong group of people to break out and be smug about his big blow-up mattress.
As Show peacefully dozed off, McMahon, known for his playful nature, seized the opportunity to pull off an epic prank. McMahon crawled on the floor of the plane like an army commando, undetected by the sleeping giant. With precision, he proceeded to poke tiny holes in Big Show’s air mattress, causing it to slowly deflate.
I’m kind of starting to doze off a little bit and all of a sudden, army crawling on the floor of the plane is Vince [McMahon]. It’s just funny, this is a billionaire who is belly crawling up this aeroplane and Show is sound asleep and Vince proceeds to put tiny little holes in his mattress. So he puts these tiny holes and he gets up and he goes back,
Meanwhile, The Undertaker, who was partially dozing off and enjoying a drink, couldn’t believe his eyes as he witnessed the billionaire WWE chairman belly-crawling to execute the prank. The moment of truth arrived when Big Show woke up to find his air mattress flat and his restful sleep disrupted.
Furious, Show initially had no idea who was behind the prank. Undertaker recalled the scene vividly, with Show berating everyone on the plane for their insensitivity. The situation escalated when John Bradshaw Layfield suggested holding a wrestler’s court to find the culprit responsible for the deflated mattress.
And then you just hear this ‘God dammit, everybody thinks they’re effing funny!’ Oh, Show blew his stack man, ‘That’s real f***ing funny, real funny!’ And Vince he’s like ‘What happened? What’s going on?’ I’m pretty sure Bradshaw was on that flight and he’s like ‘Who would do such a thing? We need to have wrestler’s court when we get there and find out who did this to your mattress.’
What Did Vince McMahon Ban The Undertaker From Saying During His Retirement Speech?
Vince McMahon forbade The Undertaker from saying the word “retirement” during his farewell speech. McMahon instead told Undertaker to say ‘It’s time for The Undertaker to rest in peace.’ Undertaker believes that McMahon wanted him to do this as he didn’t believe he was really done with wrestling.
