The Undertaker has recalled his horrendous 2019 Goldberg bout.
In what was a dream match for many all over the world, fans witnessed The Undertaker face-off against Goldberg at Super ShowDown 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In arguably one of the worst-rated match cards in the company’s history, both The Phenom and Goldberg failed to elevate the show’s standards.
Escaping several injury-prone spots and producing a horrible nightmare, The Undertaker recently recalled the match during his appearance on the Six Feet Under podcast. Calling the former Universal Champion a “little tight”, The Deadman claimed he “stunk up the joint”.
“He’s wound a little tight sometimes. Good dude, though. He was kind of thrust into something you can’t blame him for. They created him and it was a huge deal. That Saudi thing was a little ugly. My mindset going into the whole thing was like, at this point in my career, how often do you get to work with somebody that you’ve never (worked with)? I’ve worked with everybody for the last 30-plus years, but I never worked with Bill.
Singles match, that’s the only one, and I stunk the joint up. It was 98 degrees, nine at night, outside. You could chew the air it was so thick. It was just one of those things. There’s not any humidity. Just heat. It was bad. At that time of night, too, whew.”

While The Undertaker retired in 2020, Goldberg is highly rumored to have his retirement match later this year in 2025.
The Undertaker Believes Brock Lesnar Was Not Needed To Break The Streak
During an interview on Busted Open Radio, The Undertaker shared his opinion on who could have broken his streak. The Hall of Famer claimed that Brock Lesnar did not need the win over him at WrestleMania 30, and it was Bray Wyatt who was more suitable for the accolade.
“I didn’t feel like Brock needed it, right? Brock was…and people, all the internet geniuses [were like] ‘Well, you know, he lost this, and he didn’t do this, and he didn’t do that. He needed a win.’ Brock was an attraction all to himself by this time. Would it have helped Bray? Obviously, would have helped Bray. Would it have skyrocketed Roman? Probably, if they’d have got that juice.”
